Only go back into reading Sci Fi recently (last time at school 30 years ago). Really glad I did because these two books are brilliant!!! Couldn't put either down but now have agonising wait for the final part of the story. Crack on Stephen

The final book will likely arrive on Kindle before other stores, although it'll only be for a week or so ahead.

I'm close to finishing the second draft now, which means I have what roughly resembles a book. Putting together the _finished_ book might take a little while longer, though ;)

Great story so far, don't leave us hanging around for too long for the third book. I use a Kindle so might have to wait even longer before I can read it. Many thanks for the hours of entertainment I have had reading the first two books.

I'm currently writing the final book, and should have it finished by either the end of the year or early 2013. I'm nearly done with this draft, but need to go through it a couple more times to straighten things out ;)

@Vance - Glad you enjoyed reading the books! I'm currently in the process of writing the final book, just on the second draft now. I'm hoping to have it all finished and ready for release at the end of 2012.

There's still quite a lot to do, however, and a few plot points will need reconsideration and some chapters rewriting. So... we'll see what happens. Real life can get in the way, too ;)

Just found your first book on amazon kindle the other day and was depressed after I read it and realised there was no second book. I am so happy to find out that its coming out in September!!!! I just adored the first book and was nose deep into it and couldn't stop reading.
Can't wait to read the next installment :)

The problem is that the price wouldn't be just a little higher, it would be considerably higher. Print on demand is hideously expensive and so paperbacks (of around 480 pages or so) would end up costing about �16+ or $25+ each.

At those prices, it would almost just be worth buying a Kindle, so that you could purchase them cheaply, along with a lot of other free and discounted books from Amazon... :|

I hope the whole trilogy will be released in paperback format. I would prefer it over electronic versions even if the price was a bit higher.

I'm delighted that the copies are selling so well. Hopefully the increased distribution through Waterstone's Greenwich and Waterstone's Piccadilly will allow more readers to get their hands on the book. Time allowing, I'll be making an effort to sign as many copies as possible.

The second book is being written, but it will not be out for quite some time; certainly not this year. 2010 is more likely for a release. I prefer not to rush these things.
