HONOUR OF THE KNIGHTS has had a great 2010. Released as an eBook in the last quarter, the novel has been devoured by readers the world over. Not only that, but it has also garnered a great reception, receiving a number of positive reviews and ratings. Most heart warming of all is that a great many of the readers are eager to get their hands on the follow-up novel, THE THIRD SIDE (only 8 months to go!).

KNIGHTS arrived at the iBookstore in September, where it moved quickly into the top 10 free fantasy and science fiction novels in the UK store. It has remained in the top 10 for a great deal of this time, scoring 16 ratings to date, for an average score of 4.5 / 5. Equally, a number of positive reviews have been left.

Similarly in the US store, the novel has received 28 ratings, for an average of 4 / 5. Here, too, it has been met with enthusiastic reviews from readers.

KNIGHTS has also met with a positive reception at Barnes and Noble, being downloaded over 500 times in just two months and receiving 10 customers ratings. HOTK is available as a free eBook for the Nook.

But one of the most exciting results so far has been the success of the novel at Amazon UK. Since its debut in mid October, HOTK was quick to climb the sales ranks, moving into Amazon's top 1000 within only a few days and digging itself in to the top 400 (from time to time leaping into the top 300). KNIGHTS currently features regularly in Amazon's top 20 science fiction books, and, around mid-December, also took the number one spot in the Space Opera sub category. Sales during December were wonderful to say the least, the novel selling over 450 copies, taking the total sales just short of 500. To say that I'm pleased by this would be a tremendous understatement.

As far as initial receptions go, the first book in the BATTLE FOR THE SOLAR SYSTEM trilogy has had a fantastic one! With any luck (and continued positive word of mouth and reviews), 2011 will continue to bring good fortune to the series. If hundreds of sales and hundreds of downloads is anything to go by, it most certainly will be!
