Erik the Red went with Parks' CSN rescue fleet to Coyote, to assist with enabling the SAR teams in getting down to the surface of Mythos and salvaging the ATAFs. During the engagement with the invading Pandoran soldiers, Erik the Red fought alongside Leviathan and Ironside, in the midfield.

The frigate was destroyed when Dragon arrived in the Coyote system, attacking it the instant it exited jump and turning the full power of three plasma accelerators on it.
