CSN Augustus

Augustus is a Confederation starfighter carrier. Originally one of a trio of Adder-class carriers (along with Trajan and Julius), the carrier was superseded by the introduction of the next generation Cobra-class vessels in the late 26th century.

After almost seventy years of active duty, Augustus was pulled out of service, being too old and costly to maintain. The Adder-class carriers, equipped with only one plasma accelerator and half the starfighter complement of newer vessels, were also heavily outclassed by most other modern naval craft.
