Ian Barclay is a CSN starfighter pilot. He was stationed at Mandelah Naval Base in 2617, having transferred to Temper from Ecuador Minor. After his transfer, he joined the Steel Bulls, under the command of Katherine Strickland.

 

 

The Honour of the Knights [Toggle Spoilers]

Barclay was playing poker with Simon Dodds, Enrique Todd, Chaz Koonan, Seth McLeod, PJ Burgess, and Casper Heywood in the Officer's Club the night being Operation Menelaus.

He teased Simon Dodds about enlisting in the CSN to become a hero, asking whether or not the navy had erected a statue in his honour. Though he found PJ Burgess' conspiracy stories annoying, he egged the man on, suggesting that the Mitikas Empire had in fact been wiped out by aliens.

 

 

 

The Attribute of the Strong [Toggle Spoilers]

Barclay was killed in 2617, during Operation Menelaus, in the defence of CSN Griffin*.
