Spirit

Spirit features a number of large continents, and very few islands. Around two-thirds of its surface is covered by water. It is quite typical of most terraformed planets.

A planet within the Temper system, running the declared border between Confederation and Independent World space. Was once a trouble hot spot, although things have quietened down considerably in recent years.

The CSN is currently moving a great number of personnel to Xalan, though the reasons for this have not been fully disclosed. The constant mundane patrols that pilots have to undertake around the Temper system have since earned the place the nickname "Action Central".

The planet is home to Mandelah Naval Base.

The Attribute of the Strong [Toggle Spoilers]

Spirit was attacked and destroyed in November 2621, the first planet in the Helios Confederation to be felled by Dragon's anti-matter cannon, when the Pandoran fleet returned to the Temper system after the failure of phase two of Black Widow. Rush work was made on the far from complete orbital ring, in an attempt to weaponise it prior to their arrival, but the work fell far short of target.
